Its tactile timbers have been carefully sanded and then sympathetically restored, allowing the age and beauty of the timbers to be revealed. Imperfections and historic marks are not generally sanded from the surface but are left visible to celebrate the age of this item. Minor variations and imperfections are therefore to be expected and embraced.
